The triumphant return of an old favorite, Colombia Aponte Honey. At 2150 meters the Inga community of Aponte was isolated until the late 1900's, and then became heavily involved in more unsavory things. In the early 2000s the community used their knowledge of the terrain to begin growing exceptional coffees. The Caturra variety has been planted in the Inga territory, on smallholder properties in the Resguardo Inga Aponte, at an average of 2150 meters above sea level. This elevation, combined with the Galeras Volcano constantly shedding nutrient-rich ash, makes for an exceptionally complex and sweet coffee. We taste complex fruits, sweet candy bar, and a vanilla like sweetness in the cup.
